General / Layer Visibility
« on: 18 June 2014 07:15 am »
OK.  In the meantime, you may want to change the Tool Tip to say "Category Visibility" instead of "Layer Visibility" then.  Right now when you hover over the Eye icon, it says "Layer Visibility."  A little confusing, since there are both layers and categories in the editor.

Thanks -

General / Layer Visibility
« on: 18 June 2014 05:14 am »
In the viewer, the Layer Visibility button appears to bring up Revit Family Categories instead of the Layers that an object can be assigned to in the Editor..

Is there any way in the Viewer to control the visibility of the assignable Layers, rather than the fixed Family Categories?  I would like to put specific objects on specific layers so we can turn them on and off while viewing, instead of turning off the whole family category.

Thanks!

Importing FBX / Lighting an FBX import
« on: 14 June 2014 12:04 pm »
No lights are shown in the light tool bar, even though there are a number of lighting fixtures in the room model.  Is there something I need to do to the light family while in Revit before I export the FBX file so that the Revizto editor recognizes them as lights?

Importing FBX / Lighting an FBX import

I am importing an FBX model into Revizto (our Revit runs on a shared server, so the export tools don't work on it).  Is there anyway to activate lights in the model, or at least get some general interior lighting of the room?  (the room has no windows).   When I open in the viewer, the model is rather dark.
