Merging large models into a super model

I've read somewhere that Sketchup can presently only handle models of up to 1 Gegabyte.

The Old Town model that comes with the 30 day trial in the viewer is 250MB and roughly 500 feet x 500 feet.

At this level of detail and texturing, in theory, Sketchup should only be able to handle 4 more of these sized models before it hits the 1GB limit, roughly 1000 feet x 1000 feet.

My question is, in the future, if the 1GB limit for Sketchup models remains and we want to publish bigger models in Revizto which has a much greater (unknown) capacity can Revizto be made to splice models together in the editor to make a town or city of one square mile or more?

We will probably add this feature in future, but not sure yet.

Update: this is possible with Revizto 3.
